I’d like to thank everyone for their support and encouragement over the last two weeks! It’s been a busy time between the release of my newest novel, The House on Candlewick Lane, and the cover reveal for my next novel (coming in September), Highland Peril.
For those of you who missed the reveal on social media, here’s a look at the cover for Highland Peril:
What do you think?
There are just a few things I wanted to remind people this week.
First, if you have read The House on Candlewick Lane and left a review on Amazon or your blog or somewhere else online, THANK YOU! For those of you who’ve read the book and not left a review (good or bad!), I would ask you to consider taking a couple minutes and doing so. As I’ve mentioned before on this blog, reviews are important for lots of reasons, not the least of which is that Amazon and other online retailers use the number of reviews as a touchstone for determining whether to boost promotion of a book. And if you decide to leave a review, you have my sincere thanks.
Second, since some of you have expressed an interest in following me elsewhere online, I wanted to post the list of places I regularly post.

*a note about my website: On the bottom of each page, there’s a form to subscribe to my newsletter. I invite you to subscribe if you haven’t already. I send out about four-five newsletters a year and each one has news, upcoming events, recipes, and more. I’ve been known to do giveaways, too!*

Third, I want to assure people that I haven’t forgotten the reader interviews I conducted a while back. They’re still in the pipeline and I’ll start posting them again very soon.
And last but not least, a question for you. Is there any particular topic you’d like to see addressed on this blog? If so, leave your idea in the comments below and I’ll be happy to do some posts tailored to your requests.
Until next time,
Amy

Thank you, Margaret! I enjoyed your post about Central Park. One of my favorite photos is of my eldest learning to walk in Central Park. My husband and I used to roller blade there every weekend before she was born. I didn’t have time today to check out the rest of your blog, but I will–I promise! Thanks for stopping by.

Just joined you on Pinterest. I have no idea how to ‘work’ that site. Need to find some blogs with info about it. Your boards look great. Can’t wait to read your new book – just need a few more weeks to my day. ;-0

Truthfully, I don’t really know how to work Pinterest, either. I like to browse, but I find that I have to set a timer and stick to it or I could spend all day on the site. If you find some good articles about using Pinterest, please share! Have a great day!

Thank you, Debby! The books in this series are coming out in pretty quick succession. I guess that’s a good thing, though it made for some hairy days as the deadlines approached!
Hope you’re having a great day.

Love the Cover, I can’t wait to read if! When was your last Newsletter? Are you saving them on your website? What I like to see in a blog? Something that makes me laugh out loud!
Have a wonderful week and as always, “Keep Reading and Writing”.

Hi Sharon! I’m a day late responding to the comments on this post–sorry about that. I love the cover, too. I think the publisher’s art dept did a good job. I don’t have my old newsletters on my website, but maybe that’s something I should look into. It’s a great idea.
Since my life seems to be laugh-out-loud material, I should be able to come up with something eventually!
Have a great day.
