This week I thought I’d share some photos with you. We don’t get snow all that often in southern New Jersey, so when we do I like to take the dog outside and get lots of pictures. There are also a few from a recent visit to New York City.
First, the snow.
The woods near my house

Second, New York City.

And finally, because WordPress won’t show the caption for the last three photos, I give you Radio City Music Hall, Midtown Manhattan, and the tree at Rockefeller Center.
This week I’m a little overwhelmed with writing projects, but I hope to be able to share the cover of Trudy’s Diary with you soon. In the meantime, I’ve got to entirely restructure the novel, but I hope to be done with that in less than a week.
Until next time,
Amy
I admire your discipline and writing/work prowess. Distractions are so numerous. But I see you got in a nice snow walk – and time in NYC during the holiday. We are expecting a zinger of a snowstorm this weekend. Sigh. Well, at least I can write! 🙂

I hope you enjoyed your snowfall! We ended up with just some rain from Harper, then of course the freezing temperatures. We have a gas fireplace in the living room–not as rustic or pretty as a real fireplace, but we get heat on demand, which is nice.

Thanks for sharing, Amy. I love snow and I love NYC. Best wishes for a successful re-do on your WIP.

Thanks, Maggie. I like to visit NYC, but maybe next time I won’t go during the holidays. The streets are just so jammed with people. And those edits! They’re taking forever! They’re making the story better, though.

Amy, your photos are beautiful. We haven’t had a good snowfall in several years, but the 10 inches we got last weekend are gorgeous!

We get one or two good snowfalls a year. I seem to be the only one who likes it (well, me and my dog). It’s so beautiful.

Beautiful – thanks for sharing pics of the snow. I still miss it (sometimes).

Thanks! I think I would miss it, but I wouldn’t miss anything else about winter. John just got back from three weeks in Hawaii. He can’t understand why we still live here (it was all his idea).

Thank you and thank you. This restructuring is going to be a bit painful, I’m afraid…

But worth it?

Definitely worth it, as long as I make the editor’s suggestions happen. She had some great ideas, and they were all spot-on.
